All Disney+ releases in January 2023

Disney+ starts the year with new releases that add to a long catalog of series and movies.

The month of January is here and with it the streaming platform Disney+ is ready to add new series, movies and documentaries that add to the December releases and already started seasons of titles like Willow, The Search: Beyond History, The Simpsons or American Horror Story.

This month, in addition to the renowned titles, the original series will premiere wave chaser on January 11. Likewise, the National Geographic documentaries Afghanistan: Operation Retired and The Flag Factory will be available for streaming starting January 13.

STAR WARS: THE EVIL BUNDLE Season 2 (January 4)

The series picks up its story months after the events of Kamino. The Bad Shipment continues its journey by sailing the Empire after the fall of the Republic. Along the way they will meet friends and enemies, both new and familiar, as they undertake a series of exciting missions as mercenaries that will take you to unexpected and dangerous places.

ABBEY ROAD: IF THE WALLS SING (January 6)

Documentary film that covers how Abbey Road studios have been at the center of the music industry for more than 90 years. Through memories and discoveries, Mary McCartney showcases the creative magic that over the past nine decades has made them the world’s oldest and most famous studios and explores its diversity and inventiveness in a myriad of genres, such as classical music, pop, hip hop or soundtracks.

Through personal interviews, famous artists, producers, songwriters and the dedicated staff of Abbey Road show how his musical language expanded and created a communitywhile archival images and session recordings give us exclusive access to these famous private studios.

KOALA MAN (January 9)

New animated series starring Kevin, a middle-aged father and his not-so-secret identity, whose only superpower is a burning passion to follow the rules and crack down on petty crime in the city of Dapto. Although it may seem like any ordinary Australian suburb, the forces of evil, both cosmic and artificial, are waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting inhabitants of Dapto.

WELCOME TO CHIPPENDALES (January 11)

Welcome to Chippendales a series packed with true crimes which tells the scandalous story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the outlandish founder of the world’s largest male stripping empire, letting nothing and no one get in the way of his plans.

ATLANTA Season 4 (January 18)

The fourth season of the hit US series brings Earn (Donald Glover), Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles (Brian Tyree Henry), Darius (LaKeith Stanfield) and Van (Zazie Beetz) back to their Georgia hometown. In this new batch of episodes It is studied if the city or its protagonists have changed.

DEMON GIRL (January 18)

New original series that begins thirteen years after a reluctant mother and her antichrist daughter try to lead normal lives in Delaware despite their relationship with Satan. The two are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who craves custody of his daughter’s soul.

IDINA MENZEL: WHERE DO YOU GO ON STAGE? (January 20)

Documentary film focused on the actress and singer Idina Menzelwhich has featured iconic roles on Broadway in productions such as “Rent” and “Wicked”, as well as the legendary voice of Elsa in “Frozen”. However, one dream goal has eluded her reach: headlining a concert at the world famous Madison Square Garden in his hometown of New York.

Filmmaker Anne McCabe follows Menzel in a national tour throughout 16 shows as she juggles the challenges of being a working mom with a grueling travel schedule, preparing to finally realize her dream.

EXTRAORDINARY (January 25)

New original series set in a world where everyone gets a superpower when they turn 18. However, 25-year-old Jen still doesn’t have them, though her roommates – Carrie, Kash and a mysterious alley cat – help her not to fall into a pit of self-pity. Adrift in a difficult world and armed with just a little hope and a lot of despair, Jen sets out to find her superpower.

BETWEEN ME AND THE WORLD (January 25)

New original series starring Ilkin, who fears that her boyfriend, a famous actor, no longer loves her. One day she decides to contact him on social networks with a fake profile.and almost invents the woman who could seduce him and take him away.
