“Fantastic Four” begins casting ahead of its 2025 premiere
The long-awaited Marvel Studios movie will be directed by Matt Shakman
Just over a month after its release in movie theaters, the excitement and euphoria for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania seems to have no end. To the delight of the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (UCM), a new trailer for this long-awaited production has been released with several new features, including the appearance of Modok and several more seconds of Kang the conqueror. This release is joined by two recent posters.
The new poster is very different from the one previously shown and presents a more stylized look at the cast. It shows Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) fully decked out in their hero outfits, while Kang, played by Jonathan Majors, appears in the background as the big bad guy. In the image you can also read the caption: “Witness the beginning of a new dynasty.” This is a clear reference to Avengers: The Kang Dynastya film that will hit the big screen in May 2025. On the other hand, with the trailer they also released a new poster with the full-length protagonists.

In another part of the recent photograph, you can see what appears to be the Chronopolis of the Quantum Realm and a series of ships that appear to be part of Kang’s army. While the expectation is that this is the original Kang, some specialists claim that there is a possibility that he is just another variant of the character. However, given his appearance, it is believed that he will be the big villain of the MCU.
In Quantumania, Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. The story will see how these characters in the company of Hope’s parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) will be transported to the Quantum Realm. There they will have to interact with strange creatures and they will embark on a battle that will take them beyond the limits of what was thought possible. Furthermore, this upcoming installment will not only show the teenage daughter of Ant-Man Cassie Lang (played by Kathryn Newton) turned hero, but it will also be the first film to feature Kang as a villain, played by Jonathan Majors. Also, it brings back Michael Douglas as Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, among others.
A few days ago it was leaked that this next production could be the most extensive of the Ant-Man trilogy. According to the site fandango, Quantumania It will last 2 hours and 5 minutes, surpassing the first feature film, which lasted 1 hour and 57 minutes. For its part, the 2018 sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp it lasted 1 hour and 58 minutes.

This new trailer comes ahead of the feature film being released in theaters on February 17. quantamania begins Phase 5 of the UCM. Some of the films that are part of this new stage are Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels, Captain America: New World Order, thunderbolts Y Blade. These films will be joined by some titles that Disney+ will release about this universe as secret invasion, Loki (second season) and Daredevil: Born Again.
