Oscar 2023: Academy investigates whether an actress was nominated without meeting promotion standards

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced this week that it will review the way promotional campaigns are conducted for Oscars 2023after the nomination of an actress in a small film caused surprise and sparked speculation.
