Three decades after becoming a television phenomenon, the original cast members of Mighty Morphin: Power Rangers come together for a Netflix special commemorating the enduring legacy of the creation of Haim Saban and production of Saban Entertainment. “Our Ranger family runs deep,” Walter Emanuel Jones tells EW about playing Zack the Black Ranger 30 years later.

It is not known if any more original cast members are committed to the project.

“It’s been 28 years since I went back to the set of Powers Rangers,” says Jones in the first preview released on January 17 about the show. Likewise, Yost, now 54, says: “It’s a little crazy to think about it. It’s been so many years.” And another who made known what he thinks and feels about it is Cardenas, who said: “It is surreal. It has been a great experience”.
The new superhero experience sees the Rangers confront a familiar threat from the past, who in the midst of a danger plaguing humanity, are once again being hailed as the saviors the world needs. “Once & Always Remind everyone that when you become a Ranger, you are always part of said family and you are always welcome,” Netflix describes.
